About ÅSV

Welcome to the home page of Århus Sangskriverværksted.

Århus Songwriter's workshop today has more than 100 active songwriters as members, and around 500 people use our facebook page. We rely solely on voluntary work for our existence, and for many years we have been the only association of our kind in Denmark.

ÅSV sets itself apart from other song circles by maintaining the workshop evenings as the most central activity, along with the more traditional concert arrangements. 

You become a member by submitting a song for one of our workshop evenings, and by paying the yearly mebership fee of 150 kr.

When you become a member, we suggest that you set up a profile page on this website, so that others can see who you are and maybe have access to your music.

Create a profile though the menu system - here you can write up a short bio, display links and in the near future also upload your music. 

You can also have a look at other people's profiles.

NB: Participation in events such as summer and winter camp, our christmas gatherings, voting on various issues etc. is dependent on you having a profile on this web page. If you already have a profile, but have forgotten you password the system can create a new one for you and send it in an email.
